Begin with the outside of your house, or your curb appeal. Look at the outside of your house from a street perspective. What do you notice first? What dollar-earning features seem to fade into the background? Understanding this helps us to choose what we can do to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with retouched paint and bright greenery we'll need to address those as well. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your house's final selling price.

"Welcome to your new home!"
Does your house seem to say, "This is Your New Home" to a buyer? Walking-through your house from a buyer's view, we'll recommend arrangements that build up sales appeal. We'll suggest that you take away items that give the appearance of clutter. Tabletops should be neatly arranged. Knickknacks, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator drawings should get moved out of sight. We can help you simplify the decor of house. Less than inviting or busy spots make your home seem unkempt and buyers have a more difficult time imagining themselves living there.
We know exactly where a room's best characteristics are and how to show them off. Areas that directly impact your sale price include easy-to-fix items like pieces of furniture that should get rearranged, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs to be replaced, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
Working together, we'll make sure your home has mass appeal and that it's friendly, steering clear of "loud" or "personalized" hues on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can consider borrowing furniture. The goal is for your home to look lived in as opposed to barren.

Setting the Stage
In the short time that your house will be on the market, we want to engage the buyer's senses. Dark rooms can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like part the curtains and reduce shadows where needed to show off your home. Together we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and assure a delightful aroma circulates from every area. We'll add cozy-looking throws, and throw pillows on your chairs and bed. We want buyers to feel like your current house has the potential to be.
